"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." - Psalm 139:13-16

Our Meeting with Children's

So we were referred to Children's Hospital to take care of our little baby's Cleft. We met with the director of the Cleft lip and palate division on Thursday. The meeting went really well and we came out of feeling even better. We really do have a very special baby, and not because s/he has a cleft lip, but really because it is our baby. We are happy that we do live near Children's because they are listed in top two for helping children with Cleft Lip and Palate.
Heather also had her glucose screening on Thursday, which tests if she has diabetes or not. We are still waiting for the results, but we are pretty sure it will come back negative.
The baby is really doing well and running all over Mom's belly. When were sitting in Children's waiting, we were sitting there watching the baby punch and kick trying get out of Heather's belly. We have settled on names for both a boy and a girl but I am not going to disclose them until I have permission from my boss.
Next Friday (Jan 11) we do go back to Children's for them to take a look at our baby's heart. This is just precautionary to make sure the baby's heart is ok and is developing correctly. We will not got back to Children's for the baby's cleft until after the baby is born.
We are so excited for May to come.

Lindsey and I want to extend our thoughts and prayers to your family.
We pray for your family and we know that you all are a very strong and faithful family. God choses families for a reason and he chose yours for obvious reasons. He knew that you would be strong and would love him and your new baby with out prejudice.I can't wait to come to Colorado again to meet the new extension of the Jensen household.

Dear Heather, Peter and Colton and of course, this wonderful baby.
Granddad and I are so very proud of all of you for sharing all the blogs about the newest member of the Jenson household. We hold you in our hearts. Not much can be added at this time except that we know how much this baby means to all of you and all the happiness that awaits you. Hold tight to each other, stay strong and always know we love you all more then we can say. Granddad and Grandma

I hope everything goes well with your little one. I have a 2 month old son who was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. He has truly been a blessing. It's nice to meet others who are going through similar things.
